Mae ‘na nifer o wahanol fersiynau o Gymru. Mae na’r De Cymru mae pawb yn ei nabod – acen y dyffrynoedd, rygbi a glo. Mae ‘na Cymru gwyliau lan y môr fe aethon ni yno am wythnos yn yr haf tra’n tyfu fyny. A mae ‘na Cymru Cymraeg. Yr ardaloedd yna o’r wlad ble mae’r iaith a’r diwylliant Cymraeg dal yn ffynu/i’w glywed o bryd i bryd/yn dal ar. Dyma Cymru Bob Dim.
What the heck is this ‘Cymru Cymraeg’ then?
There are many different versions of Wales. There’s the South Wales valleys classic Welsh accent rugby playing (ex) coal mining Wales. There’s the seaside Wales you remember from going on holiday to as a kid. And then there’s Cymru Cymraeg. Welsh Wales. Those parts of the country where Cymraeg language and culture still thrives/can sometimes be heard/clings on. This Wales is what Bob Dim is all about.
Cymru = Wales
Cymraeg = the Welsh language
Cymru Cymraeg = those part of Wales where the Cymraeg language and culture exists
