Ysbyty Ifan

, , , , ,

Pentref hynafol gyda cysylltiadau a Abraham Lincoln.

Mae gan pentref a cymuned Ysbyty Ifan hanes arbennig, sy’n cynnwys Marchogion St John, ysbyty ar gyfer pererinion, teulu’r Tuduriaid, Gwylliaid Cochion Mawddwy, a hen-hen daid Abraham Lincoln.

Yr Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol yw’r sefydliad sy’n edrych ar ol y pentref a’r wlad o’i gwmpas – un o’r sefydliadau sy’n caru’r Cymraeg.

Ancient village with links to Abraham Lincoln.

The small village and community of Ysbyty Ifan (Ifan’s Hospital) has an amazing history, taking in the Knights of St John, a hospital for pilgrims, the Tudur family (the Tudors to you!), the Red Bandits of Mawddwy, and Abraham Lincoln’s great-great grandfather.

The village and surrounding countryside are run by the The National Trust, one of the organisations that care about Cymraeg.
